Festival: Topshop, Urban Outfitters & H&M, London

In line with Glastonbury next month stores have taken this lifestyle trend from product into visual merchandising. The obvious young fashion brands are embracing the festival look in the store windows here at Urban Outfitters and H&M. Topshop definitely has the edge with an American Indian scheme complete with feathers, arrows, desert and dip-dye effect mannequin plinths. There's scope for pop up festival fashion shops for sure..!

Mahani: Fashion Concept Store, Dubai

Bringing a fusion of art, fashion, food and lifestyle, this new fashion concept store located in Jumeriah Emirates Towers, Dubai has a totally new offering to the Middle Eastern customer. Doorways are cut out of the smooth concrete finishes, low level slabs are carved in staggered step-like blocks with folded merchandise displayed on top, there's even a Italian bakery positioned in the store. This new concept brings a totally different shopping experience to Dubai; brushing shoulders with the Ivy restaurant and Chloe, this is one which deserves destination status.

Chelsea in Bloom: Space NK, London

This week the Space NK's flagship store in Duke of York Square has been totally transformed by Sarah Feather Design for the Chelsea in Bloom window competition. Only fresh flowers were used to mark 100th anniversary of the Chelsea Flower Show; the competition theme this year was decades. Over in the other Space NK Stores; a new 'Facialist' concept is cleverly presented to promote that customers can take a facial home...we love the simplicity of this scheme which works so well with the brand and store interior.

Poolside: H&M, Berska & Miu Miu, London

Summer has arrived...well, it has in the shops anyway! These windows bring a little escapism into our lives as we yearn to be somewhere hot and sunny. We love these poolside scenes; there's a very cool sophisticated version from designer Miu Miu and the more fun playful versions on display in H&M and Berska windows. Perspectives are key as H&M attempt to re-create a birds-eye view into the pool.

Concept Store: Colette, Paris

We can never take a trip to Paris without visiting our favourite fashion concept store 'Colette' on Rue Saint Honore. This year it was a delight to see a new gallery art space featured within the store; an impressive addition to this already creative shopping destination. We love the simplistic use of Ipad technology in the window displays to inform the customers of extra product detail as well as the featured Les Ateliers Ruby merchandise; too cool for school!

Flower Sculptures: Printemps, Paris

Printemps absolutely wowed us with the best floral trend displays in Paris! Clever out-sized sphere shaped floral arrangements are positioned over mannequin heads, grouped in colour dominated sequences with coordinated product. This store certainly lives up to its name; Au Printemps meaning 'spring' in French. We especially love the mix of mannequins on the benches in the entrance where customers can immerse themselves among the displays becoming part of the installation itself. Other giant sized flower sculptures rule the break out spaces within this luxury department store located in the heart of Paris.

Artists In Residence: Republic of Fritz Hansen, London

Scandinavian design brands Fritz Hansen and Skandium has teamed up with London based design-duo 'makecreate' to launch Artists in Residence - a live installation project. A selection of up and coming and established artists are relocating to a temporary studio built within the window frontage of the Republic of Fritz Hansen store on Margaret Street, W1. We can't wait to see the full program ahead starting with artist Celia Smith; emerging talent from jewellery, sculpture, photography and fine art backgrounds will take residence up until 16th June...retail theatre at its best!
